Privacy and location data
Privacy Policy
How HRB Pacific handles information when you browse this website, contact us or use the tyre store finder.
Last updated: 4 November 2026
HRB Pacific Pty Ltd (ABN 49 097 429 680) (“HRB Pacific”, “we”, “us” or “our”) supplies and distributes Goodride tyres in Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this website. It is intended to support the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply and to provide transparent information to all visitors.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- contact and enquiry details you choose to provide by phone, email or another stated contact method;
- a suburb, postcode, street address or other location entered into the tyre store finder;
- device coordinates after you choose “Use my location” and grant permission in your browser;
- technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser, operating system, device information and security or error events; and
- essential cookie or session information used for website security and authorised administration.
We do not provide a public customer account or online checkout on this website. If analytics, advertising or additional forms are introduced, this policy and any consent choices must be updated before those tools are enabled.
Tyre store finder and Google Maps
You can search manually by suburb or postcode. If you choose to use device location, your browser asks for permission first. You can decline and use manual search instead, and you can later withdraw location permission through your browser or device settings.
The finder sends the search term or coordinates to this website to identify and rank nearby participating stores. We do not add a visitor’s search coordinates to a dealer database record. Website, hosting or security logs may still temporarily contain request metadata.
When Google Maps features are enabled, Google may independently receive and process search terms, IP addresses, latitude and longitude, device or browser information and request details. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy. Use of the map is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms.
Why we use information
We use information where reasonably necessary to:
- show relevant participating tyre stores and directions;
- respond to product, trade-account, distribution or general enquiries;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
- prevent misuse and investigate security incidents; and
- meet legal, regulatory, insurance and record-keeping obligations.
We do not use finder location data to decide a person’s eligibility, price or access to a product. Participating stores independently confirm their own price, stock, fitment and services.
Who may receive information
Information may be handled by staff and contractors who need it for the purposes above, and by contracted providers of hosting, content delivery, security, email, IT support and mapping. Google independently receives information when Google Maps functions are used. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or to protect people, property or legal rights.
We do not sell visitor personal information. Some service providers use distributed infrastructure and may process information outside Australia. The particular processing locations may vary with the provider and service configuration, and provider handling is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and the service, including access controls, encrypted web connections, software maintenance and security monitoring. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, security, dispute handling or a legal obligation, then delete or de-identify it where required. Operational and security logs are rotated or deleted in accordance with the applicable service configuration, unless they need to be retained longer for an incident, dispute or legal obligation. Google controls retention of information it independently receives under its own policies.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access or correction, subject to applicable law. You may also complain about our handling of personal information. Contact us with enough detail to identify the relevant information or issue. We will acknowledge and assess the request and explain the outcome or any lawful reason we cannot comply.

Third-party sites and policy changes
Links to a participating store, Google or another third party lead to services we do not control. Review their terms and privacy information before providing personal information.
We may update this policy when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page.
